From the majestic oak trees, with their sprawling branches and gnarled trunks, to the stunning sycamores, displaying their distinctive white bark and large, heart-shaped leaves, the trees in Sacramento provide a sense of peace and tranquility in a bustling cityscape and a natural connection to nature in an urban environment. It was under the lush, green canopy of a small, tree-lined street in this magnificent city, where I first imagined the design for the Sacramento Necklace.
